BC Renal (BCR) does not fund or manage billing processes for non-BC residents or refugee claimants who seek hemodialysis care in BC.

However, to assist regional renal programs who are seeing increased numbers of these patients, the network produced an overview document that summarizes the processes and provides links to relevant resources. This document also provides step-by-step instructions related to capturing information about these patients in PROMIS, the renal information system.
