This 3-part series showcases meals that are suitable for a someone with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). The recipes are low in sodium, potassium, and phosphorus, which are nutrients that typically need to be restricted in CKD.
These videos were recorded as part of a study investigating the impact of virtual cooking classes on the impact of food skills in caregivers who have a child with CKD. So, they are meant to be kid-friendly, make large quantities, and include tips throughout about cooking for CKD. They are filmed in a cook-along format, so you can download the recipe and cook with us at home!
