Did you know that the PROMIS team has developed new reports and features to support care teams in their COVID-19 response? 

Our agile development methodology has enabled us to quickly develop and release new features and enhancements approximately every two weeks to respond to critical emerging needs. In fact, we have released four priority updates through mini-releases (we call them “hot fixes”) in March, April and May. We expect to return to our regular schedule of releasing PROMIS updates on a quarterly basis, following the release of PROMIS 4.5 (planned for June 16).

Summary of New Features Released to Support COVID-19:

COVID-19 Screening Questionnaire

The COVID-19 Screening Questionnaire was developed for hemodialysis units to collect standardized COVID-19 screening data. Units electing to directly enter their results will find this accessible under COVID-19 Screening in the Patient Menu under Assessments.

COVID-19 Reports: Questionnaire/Dialysis Runs

This report shows the number of COVID-19 questionnaires submitted for a dialysis centre, based on the dialysis centre in which the patient was scheduled to dialyze.

COVID-19 Reports: Lab Results 

This report can be run by Management Centre and lists COVID-19 lab results, which are available in PROMIS via interface or manual entry. 

COVID-19 Reports: COVID-19 Dialysis Schedule/Labs

This report displays the dialysis schedule for a selected week, along with the patients’ most recent COVID-19 lab test results. 

The new reports are available under a new reporting category of COVID-19.
